We were commissioned to reproduce this piece as it would have looked when new.

The original sword is in poor condition with a bent and damaged blade.

The original blade has been shortened and the tip roughly reground.

The blade is almost straight with a fine edge and rounded pipe back spine.

Many painstaking hours went into the reproduction of every detail.
