Gothic Sword

This is a generic Medieval Sword (Oakeshott Type XIII).

I forged our first "Gothic" sword some twenty four years ago and we have made dozens of variations since.
On this sword the fittings are in low carbon steel, with a blackened finish, though we also use iron.
No two examples are ever identical as the fittings are hand forged and the blade hand ground.
The blade is high carbon spring steel with a razor sharp edge.
The grip is English ash bound in black calfskin.
